Matt Ward is the owner of Ward Tax Advisory, a Certified Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP), and a candidate for a Masters in Taxation (expected 2017). As a CRTP, Matt enjoys working directly with small business owners and individuals in the East Bay Area to solve their accounting and tax needs. Matt’s value added approach to solving financial issues allows business owners and individuals to focus on other aspects of their business and everyday life. Prior to owning his own advisory firm, Matt worked for over 7 years in a corporate business to business consulting role, understanding the needs of customers and providing solutions for those problems in the financial sector & the contingent workforce space.

When he's not helping to solve the financial issues of his customers, Matt loves exercising @diablocrossfit, golfing @OakhurstCC, going to @49ers games, barbecuing/smoking @greenegg, and being a great Father (of 2 boys) & Husband. Matt was born & raised in Lafayette and enjoys spending time with his family which still resides in the East Bay.
